Green Man / Woman
Traditionally painted stained glass. An amazing piece of stained glass. This green woman/man is crafted using traditional medieval glass working techniques. The paint is fired onto the glass permanently. This is how the stained glass windows in medieval cathedrals were created, and have existed exposed to elements, for hundreds of years.
Each layer is painstakingly applied and then kiln-fired. This piece was fired seven times.
This green woman/man was created using WV Blenko mouth-blown glass, the oldest stained glass manufacturer in America. It measures approx. 7 3/4 inches tall by 7 1/2 inches wide.
